what a purrrfect afternoon

i’m listening to forgiveness rock record by broken social scene on vinyl (one of my favourite record purchases to date, there’s nothing like that crackle. it fits the melodies so well) and painting like the wind. to my left, a steaming mug of echinacea green tea is keeping my hands and insides warm. to my right, my paintbrushes, palette and paints are littered about in an organized chaos. i have to venture outside in a couple hours to take care of some things, but until then, i’m perfectly content right here.
